My
Family I
have been so blessed by the Lord He
gave me two wonderful parents Who
nurtured and educated me Showing
me good and bad of life Telling
me of the joys of God Advising
me of the right paths to take Giving
me the choice to go the way I am lead Mistakes
I have made I
have hurt them Condemned
them Refused
to listen and learn And
rebelled against their loving advice Yet
even through all that They
have loved me unconditionally This
is the love of God Which
they have shared with me They
showed me the power of His precious love In
the way they shared their love with me. They
had faith in me when I had none They
encouraged me to follow my dreams When
I doubted I could do it They
gave me the means to do it With
the pure unselfishness of their love I
have victory in my life With
the love of my Mother and Father And
mostly with the love of my Father above Their
faith in me is beyond all I could conceive But
now I am a mother too With
seven children to love and care for None
of my womb but mine just the same All
a wonderful blessing from God Even
with some being full-grown I
still can nurture them and love them As
unconditionally as my parents do for me I
love God because He first loved me Even
though I am a sinner He
loves me just the same I
love my parents because they love me Even
though I was disobedient I
love my children unconditionally With
a pure faithful heart And
pray that the love my parent’s gives me Shines
through me to all of them So
they can share that same precious love With
their children and the children to come Thank
you Jesus for this most wonderful treasure My Great and Precious Love, My Family.
