Forgive Us Lord

Lord, we are a world of sinners.

We close our eyes to the troubles of our brothers.

We have judged those whom we do not understand.

We have fought with those who are different,

And shunned them and maimed them.

Forgive us Lord.

We thank you for watching over us.

Your Word is our instruction,

Show us your lessons so we may learn

The value of being humble,

And the perils of false judgement.

Shower us with your knowledge,

So we may understand the ways of our world.

Instil us with your wisdom

So we may know the right choices to be made.

Fill us with Your love,

So we can learn to love one another.

Help us Lord, to find peace in our lands.

To end the terror and the wars of our nations.

Forgive us Lord.

We are Your lost sheep and we wish to come home.

Thank you Jesus!
